Good spot for overnight

Breakfast was good, Bed very comfy and the staff is very friendly. Rooms need some tlc but very clean

The property has potential, but at the current rate it does not offer value for money.

Room was spacious and clean.

The property's facilities are not as advertised. Breakfast options are limited and quality/presentation is below expectation. The river is beautiful but has an awful stench, but I understand that the property has no control over that.

Room was clean and very comfortable. The pool area was well maintained and clean. The river view is really nice, great to have a picnic and relax.

There was no fridge in my room, and it’s very hot so you can’t even have a glass of cold water. The shower head in my room wasn’t working properly. Stayed in room 125. Had the buffet breakfast and it was nice but the options are very limited, so is the food menu.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, a big credit to Lerato and Pride who didn't hesitate to assist us to change a room to the one we desired. The environment is peaceful and relaxing.

I did not like the fact that they do not allow for visitors to bring their own alcohol and then get charged extreme prices at the bar

Very Good

I liked that the place was quiet and very peaceful. I mostly liked the chill area next to the river, very good for soul searching and introspection early in the morning. The place is easily accessible and not far out from the freeway. The receptionist Boitumelo was down to earth and very helpful.

The only downfall was that I had booked for a group Spa session, the booking was paid for and confirmed way before time. A day before we arrived for check-in, I received an email that my spa session will be moved to 5 hours later, to which I responded that we will not be able to make the new spot as it was too late. On the day that the Spa session was supposed to take place they still maintained that it can only be done later not at the time I booked for, even though I had sent email to advise the time is not suitable for our group. Long story short, we left without the massage. I was so disappointed because we were really looking forward to the massage session. Still waiting for the refund, and communication from the hotel with regards to the refund is very poor.

Nice decent place and reasonable price for family getaway

The place is nice, clean. The gardens and nice, relaxing and tranquil .

There are no fridges in the rooms. The drinks at the restaurants were not cold enough the manager said the fridges are malfunctioning. Plus the restaurant had no ice as back up

Very good family experience

The facilities are great and the buffet meals were excellent

The service at the restaurant was horrible. Slow and you had to repeat your orders regularly. The use few staff for the number of guests the restaurant serves. They need to increase restaurant staff during peak periods. Family rooms require renovations, just like the double and deluxe rooms.

Still my preferred place around Pretoria.

I love the setting and country atmosphere. There was a group booked in at the same time but they were very quite. The reception staff were very friendly, efficient and professional. The security was welcoming and super friendly.

The toilet sounded like it might be coming loose in room 201.

Absolutely great & relaxing. Staff was very accommodating and helpful

Breakfast was great , variety of options to choose from.

Serving at egg station for omelette / fried eggs took longer as only 1 chef was available. There were a lot of people during that weekend as there was a conference as well and therefore they could have planned better for that.
